Generations
Harvest is a multi-generational family church made up of physical and spiritual fathers and sons, mom’s and daughter’s, brothers and sisters – people who meet, and connect, and share, and journey, and belong, and grow together – family of God! And just as families gather around the dinner table together, we also all gather together on Sunday to worship and fellowship. And we all gather together for big prayer, worship, and social events. But then also, just as within families the adults will have conversations in the lounge together, and the children will play outside together, and the teens will hang out in the den together, so too as a church, we have different gatherings for different generational groups. This is church family life, and there’s a place and space for everyone!

Kids
Harvest kids ministry is aimed at all children aged 0-12 year old. On Sundays during the main adult service, various kids classes for different age groups gather close-by for age-relevant worship, teaching, and fun activities. Gifted kids leaders have all been well equipped through their Kids Leadership Training year (a program aimed to educate and enable those gifted to lead within children’s church ministry) so you can be assured that every child is in very capable and safe hands. And then the harvest kids Holiday Club is worth mentioning as an annual highlight on the winter calendar!

Please consider donating any unused or extra toys towards our harvest KIDS ministry. Simply drop off any good quality used (or new) toys at any Harvest campus for us to use at KIDS church.
Junior Youth
Harvest junior youth is aimed at pre-teens aged 10-12 years old, or grades 4 – 7. On Friday nights from 5:30-7pm in studio 4 at Harvest Walmer Junior Youth is all about hanging out and having some good Christian fun together. Led by awesome energetic leaders, these gatherings are strictly for anyone who is not a little kid anymore, but not quite a teenager. A place to come with friends, to make new ones, and to celebrate and learn more about our best friend in Jesus!

Youth
Harvest youth ministry is aimed at all teens aged 13-18 years old. On Friday nights at Harvest Walmer from 6:30-9pm youth involves high energy praise and worship, a relevant message, and enough time to just hang out (which may include hot chocolate, braai’d marshmallows, table-tennis, and water-balloon volleyball)! Youth leaders stay well connected with teens, establishing God-centered relationships to impact their sometimes crazy daily lives! Throughout the year there are also youth camps and other activities to look forward to.

Young Adults
Harvest Young Adults is aimed at 18-30 years old. Young adults meet every Wednesday at 7pm in the Atrium at Harvest Walmer for a time of fellowship, worship and discussion. We believe it’s really important to create a space and place for young adults to connect and share around relevant and topical life issues, as they walk out Christian life together – pioneering a Godly future in a rapidly changing world.

Seniors
Harvest seniors ministry is for anyone over the age of 55 and is aimed at connecting many elderly people within the church. Seniors meet every Tuesday morning from 10-11:30am at Harvest Walmer for a wonderful time of fellowship, worship, fun and encouragement. A message is also shared and there are often interesting talks from different church ministries and experts from various walks of life. Our seniors ministry is wonderfully led by Ed and Crystol Walker.
