Biblical Training
Harvest is a resource church. Our heart is that all harvesters and beyond would experience the victorious life that Jesus promised us and to grow through bible-based courses, studies and teachings that bring healing and restoration where required, and to give practical training and equipping to ultimately release leadership and ministry potential.
There are a number of touchpoints for our biblical training ministry and we would encourage you to delve in and explore them all along your journey of growth in His living word.

Biblical Equipping
On the last Wednesday of each month, Daan and Gaby Botha hold a biblical equipping session for the entire congregation from 6.30pm on our Youtube channel. This is a time when all connect groups and the whole church is encouraged to join for a time of teaching and interaction around topical biblical issues.
Bible Reading Plan
This year’s reading plan centres on Jesus, inviting us to explore His story in depth. We will trace His journey from its beginnings, examine what the prophets foretold about Him, reflect on His words and deeds, and delve into what was written about Him after His resurrection.
Each day’s reading includes just a few verses, providing space to dig deeply into a small portion of Scripture, reflect on its meaning, and allow it to shape your life.
This year, following along with our church-wide Bible reading plan online is easier than ever! So many people already have the YouVersion bible app on their phones (if you don’t, simply get it for free from the App Store or Play Store), so why not make the most of it? Just search for Harvest Christian Church in the app and set it as your church. That way, you’ll get friendly reminders whenever we post a reading plan update – because staying in the Word together is staying the path together!
Precept Bible Studies
Throughout the year various Precept Bible studies are led by trained leaders across various Harvest venues. Precept Ministries seek to establish people in God’s Word by studying the bible inductively so you can discover truth for yourself, viewing the world biblically and making disciples intentionally. Participants do weekly homework and attend class discussion with a video lecture once a week.

Biblical Foundations
Every quarter, Harvest leaders run a 4 week Biblical Foundations equipping course at Harvest Walmer. This powerful and practical course aims to equip all believers to become disciples of Jesus, and to really establish and cement the foundations of their Christian faith within church.

Discipleship 1-2-3
Twice a year, a discipleship program takes place at 6:30pm via online Zoom meeting. In this 3 part course we aim to equip people with a sound grasp of the BIBLE, PRAYER, and COVENANT as we teach people how to study their bible, how to pray, and how to understand God’s covenant with them. The 3 modules can also be taken as individual courses.

Tour Israel
As part of our Biblical Training ministry Daan and Gaby Botha conduct tours to Israel to explore the land of the bible and to get a glimpse of the life and times of Jesus and his disciples. Experience and explore the land where our bible heroes lived and view the lands, the people, and the places that will play a central part during the end times.
