Operation Shoebox

For 18 years Harvesters have been filling shoeboxes with goodies for disadvantaged and sometimes forgotten children in the remote community of Thornhill and also PE’s Northern Areas.

Covid may have changed many things but we certainly don’t want it to impact the big smiles on these beautiful faces at Christmas time!

And so like last year, instead of asking Harvesters to fill shoeboxes themselves, we are asking for dedicated financial contributions so that we can make up and deliver Christmas hampers for many families in need now.

Please would you consider continuing to be a part of this wonderful Harvest tradition by contributing R100 or more into our:
Standard Bank Account no. 080308007
Branch Code: 050417
Please mark your transfer OPERATION SHOEBOX

God bless you for being a blessing to others!

Harvest Mens Connect Weekend

In our busy lives we can easily miss the opportunity as men to really connect with each other. And being part of a bigger church can also limit the depth of our relationships, as we tend to move within our same circles of familiar comfort. But it’s important that we’re connected to other Christian guys, to help bring out the best in each other, and shape us into becoming the men of God we have been made to be.

What this camp really aims to do is simply connect brothers in Christ meaningfully – around the braai, along a walk, over a conversation, or during a time of ministry – the “how” is not nearly as important as the “what.” Which is why you should join. God just might have a divine appointment planned with you in mind.

Gardens of Faithfulness

This is a simple program that everyone at Harvest can participate in, whereby you cultivate a small 1x2m vegetable garden of your own in your own home, and go through the process and principles of Farming God’s Way. It’s also a great way in our busy day-to-day lives for us all to go on a mission together as a church family! And what better time than missions month springtime! All you need to do is simply watch a short 45 minute video compilation, and then get your garden starter kit from the church for just R30. In doing so you will not only reap the benefit of enjoying a bunch of delicious and nutritious vegetables, but you will also learn the Godly beauty and blessing of sowing and reaping, which you can then go on to teach others to play a part in growing God’s kingdom.
